About the Position: We are currently seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join our creative team. As a Junior Interior Designer, you will work closely with the Principal Designer and Trade Manager to contribute to the design process, from conceptualization to implementation. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level designer looking to build a career in the dynamic field of interior design.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of interior design concepts for residential and commercial projects.
- Collaborate with the senior design team to create mood boards, color schemes, and design presentations.
- Produce detailed drawings, floor plans, and 3D renderings using industry-standard software.
- Source materials, furniture, and accessories to fulfill design concepts while adhering to budget constraints.
- Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and innovations in interior design.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain clear communication with clients and team members throughout the design process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial arrangements.
- Ability to adapt to and incorporate feedback into design revisions.
- Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio showcasing your interior design projects and creative abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices.
- Experience with project management and coordination.
Compensation:
Compensation will be based on experience and/or paid on a per-project basis.
